So where does college scholarship money come from?

• 40% is Federal aid.  This is needs based and is determined using FAFSA.
• 39% is from College and Universities.  This is merit and need-based.  This is the BEST source for scholarship money other than government grants for financial need.
• 13% is from private sources.
• 8% is State aid.  This is also needs based.
